Security and Parking Department

The Security Department ensures the ongoing security and safety of all patients, visitors, employees and Medical Staff as well as for all structures, grounds and equipment. In addition, they also oversee all parking assignments and access to urgent care areas.

ID Badge: You will need to obtain an ID badge which you are expected to wear at all times when at Mercy Hospital. This badge will enable staff to identify you, give you access to security sensitive areas (such as the Emergency Department), give you access to the physician's lounge and parking lot, and get you a discount in the cafeteria. You can make arrangements to obtain a badge by contacting the Medical Affairs Office at 879-3057.

Parking: You will be given access to the physician's parking lot which is located on the Winter Street side of the hospital. You can access this lot with your Mercy ID badge.
