Physician Handbook

On behalf of the Medical Staff, I would like to welcome you to Mercy Hospital.   Our Medical Staff is comprised of 800+ dedicated, skilled and caring Health Care Providers who share Mercy’s belief that the best medical care is delivered with warmth and compassion.  The hospital provides an extensive network of services for the Medical Staff and our patients, including primary, emergency, and specialty care and ambulatory and inpatient services.

This is an exciting time to be a member of the Mercy Medical Staff with the planning for a new campus, Mercy at the Fore, now under way.  Your input into the services and design of Mercy at the Fore will be invaluable to the project.  The hospital is dedicated to building a facility that will more than meet the needs of our providers, patients, staff and the community as a whole.

I am also extending an open invitation to you to discuss any concerns that you might have relative to Mercy Hospital and the Medical Staff.  I am a firm believer in the concept that open communication between the Medical Staff and the hospital administration results in better patient care and minimizes the potential for conflict.
