Physician Handbook

Cafeteria Service:  Cafeteria serivce is provided from 6:30 am to 6:15 pm seven days a week on the B1 level.  The menu is posted on the Mercy Hospital intranet site or it may be accessed by dialing "FOOD" (x3663).

Hot meals are served from 6:30 to 10:00 for breakfast; 11:00 to 1:15 for lunch and 4:15 to 6:15 for dinner.  The cafeteria is closed from 10:30 to 11:00 am and from 3:45 to 4:15 pm for meal preparation.

Soups, salads, and freshly made sandwiches are available from 11:00 am to 6:15 pm daily.  There is a free Green Mountain coffee machine in the Doctor's lounge located near Radiology on the 1st floor.  In addition there are vending machines located at the cafeteria entrance on the B1 level as well as in the Emergency waiting room area.

Cafeteria Account for Cash-less Transactions:  You may open a Cafeteria account for cash-less transactions by contacting the Cafeteria Supervisor at 879-3592.  We have two options available:

• For Medical Staff Members NOT Employed by Mercy:  You may open a pre-paid debit account.  Cafeteria items purchased would be deducted from the balance in your account through a number assigned to your ID badge.
• Mercy Employed Medical Staff:  You may select the above option or the option of payroll deduction is also available.  The latter option is also badge activated.
