Physician Handbook

In January of 2005 the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program at Mercy Hospital was re-structured with the goal of providing excellent educational opportunities for the Medical Staff as well as other hospital providers and staff.  A number of ongoing CME conferences have been established and one Category 1 credit will be available for each session.  These credits are provided at no cost to the participants.  The following is a list of current offerings:

GRAND ROUNDS:  Last Friday monthly, 7:00 am, Lower Auditorium.  Topics as announced.

ONCOLOGY CONFERENCE:  Every second and fourth Thursday, at noon in the Lower Auditorium.

INTEGRATED PAIN CONFERENCE:  Every second and fourth Thursday, 7:00 am, Administrative Conference Room.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE:  Every second and fourth Wednesday, 12:00 pm, Breast Health Resource Center.  Lunch is provided.

ANESTHESIA CONFERENCE:  Every Thursday, 7:00 am, Anesthesia Library.
