The “Partnership In Caring” Golf Classic to benefit the Mercy at the Fore Capital Campaign will be held on Friday, August 22 at noon at Val Halla Golf Club in Cumberland. Annual Planned Giving Luncheon, June 6

On Friday, June 6, Mercy Hospital will be hosting the annual Planned Giving Luncheon beginning at noon. This event, at the Portland Country Club, is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of gift commitment methods through a life income arrangement or an estate plan.

This year’s luncheon and discussion will be once again facilitated by Sarah Ruef-Lindquist, J.D., CTFA, Senior Consultant at Planning for Good. Sarah has served as President of the Maine Planned Giving Council in 2006 and 2007 and oversaw the production of the premier 2006/2007 Leave A Legacy ™ Magazine for the council. She brings a wealth of experience in the field of planned giving as one of Maine’s leading experts.

The format for this luncheon provides an interactive setting where you can have focused learning as a group at your own table and shared learning with others in attendance. Auxiliary Fashion Show, June 26

The Auxiliary to Mercy Hospital will hold its annual Fashion Show on June 26 at The Marriott at Sable Oaks in South Portland. The Auxiliary is a dedicated group of individuals who support Mercy Health System through their contribution of time, talent, and service, providing $80,000 annually.

This year’s event will feature cancer survivor models with a “Celebrating Life” theme. Women’s fashions will be provided by Benoit’s, Carlisle Collection, Saco Bay Classics, Serendipity, and Simply You. Men’s fashions will be provided by David Wood and Joseph’s. Gather your friends, and join us for a fun night out on June 26, 6:00 p.m. Tickets $40 (includes dinner). All proceeds from this event will benefit The Oncology-Hematology Center at Mercy.
